The Flaming Zombie is a zombie that can be encountered in the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 zones. It rarely spawns in the aformentioned areas and is distinguishable by a burnt orange body and fire emerging from the body/head.
Despite the fact that Flaming Zombies deal 20 damage and have fast movement speed, they can be easily dispatched with a decent full-auto weapon as they only have 2500 health. Flaming Zombies are also considered "prize zombies" since they drop loot when killed. Loot dropped from killed Flaming Zombies range from low-quality melee weapons to rare T1-T-3 tier-weapons such as the Glock 30 or Remington 870.
Tactics[]
- No further tactics are needed to combat Flaming Zombies as a full-automatic weapon is sufficient enough to dispatch them.
- Don't engage Flaming Zombies whenever there are lots of higher-tier zombies present around (such as the Octopus or Brute) unless you are at a high level and have a powerful weapon to dispatch swarming zombies.
